We started with a materiality assessment and delivered a long-term roadmap, ESG KPIs, and a benchmark inaugural ESG report. Since then, Cologix has earned an EcoVadis silver medal and continues to advance its ESG goals with Veerless as its trusted advisor.

The Situation

In 2021, as Cologix was just over 10 years in business, Cologix sought to formalize its already strong values-driven programs that made the company a corporate citizen focused on responsibility and sustainability. Already a leading data center and interconnectivity provider, Cologix was ready to take the next step with a strategic ESG program that matched its leadership position.

Veerless stepped in to help Cologix further formalize and embed its already strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives into its operations and strategy. With support from its chief investor partners, Cologix targeted carbon neutrality, deepened its social impact commitments, and prioritized top-tier governance practices from the outset.

We led a comprehensive materiality assessment to identify and prioritize the ESG topics most relevant to Cologix and its stakeholders. This analysis laid the groundwork for their ESG strategy.

Using the materiality findings, we helped Cologix design a long-term ESG roadmap, define ESG KPIs, and set targets aligned with their business goals.
