At Veerless, we believe sustainability shows up in the choices we make every day, including the businesses we choose to support. Recently, our team celebrated one of our own as she prepares to welcome a new baby, and we looked for gifts that reflected the values we care about: thoughtful design, responsible business practices, and products made with care.

For this week’s 5 Faves, we’re sharing the Certified B Corporations behind the gifts we chose. From baby clothing and skincare to feeding essentials and everyday necessities, these companies demonstrate how businesses can create products families love while considering their impact on people and the planet.

1. Lou Lou Lollipop

Lou Lou Lollipop offers a range of baby and toddler essentials, including silicone feeding products, swaddles, blankets, clothing, and accessories designed for everyday use. The company combines practical design with a focus on product safety, using carefully selected materials across its collection.

Sustainability is reflected in Lou Lou Lollipop’s approach to materials, manufacturing, and packaging. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics are used for many of its soft goods, while its silicone products are made without BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, or melamine. Its packaging is made with recycled-content materials, and the company partners with BSCI-compliant factories that are expected to meet standards for fair wages, ethical business practices, and worker health and safety.

2. Bella Tunno

Baby gift set with plush bunny, sippy cup, and feeding accessories for new parents.
A curated baby gift set featuring a plush bunny, sippy cup, and feeding accessories from Veerless, perfect for thoughtful gifting.

Bella Tunno’s collection includes feeding accessories, toys, teethers, and gifts designed with safety and functionality in mind. Many of its products are made from food-grade silicone that is FDA approved, CPSIA compliant, and free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates.

What sets Bella Tunno apart is its longstanding commitment to addressing childhood hunger. Through its Buy One, Feed One® program, the company donates million meals to date. Bella Tunno also uses sustainable materials and recyclable packaging across much of its product line, reflecting a broader commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

3. Rosa & Blue

Rosa & Blue specializes in baby and children’s clothing, sleepwear, and accessories made from a signature blend of bamboo and organic cotton. Designed in the UK and crafted in Portugal, the company’s collections pair soft, high-quality fabrics with timeless prints.

Rosa & Blue takes a thoughtful approach to responsible manufacturing, from the materials it selects to the partners it works with. Its products are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, with its organic cotton products also carrying GOTS certification. The company works closely with its manufacturing partners in Portugal to support fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical business practices. Manufacturing in Europe helps reduce transportation impacts. It also embraces a slow fashion approach that encourages buying fewer, better-made products designed to last.

4. Mustela

Mustela has been developing skincare products for babies, children, and families for more than 70 years. Its product line includes cleansers, lotions, diaper creams, and other everyday skincare essentials formulated with a focus on safety, efficacy, and ingredients of natural origin.

Today, Mustela pairs that long history with a growing commitment to environmental responsibility. The company prioritizes naturally derived ingredients that are responsibly sourced, works to reduce the environmental impact of its packaging, and has Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-approved goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Mustela also publishes regular updates on its sustainability progress, reflecting a commitment to transparency alongside continuous improvement.

5. Grove Collaborative

Grove Collaborative brings together a curated marketplace of household and personal care products, including a growing selection of baby essentials from brands that meet its ingredient, sustainability, and performance standards. In addition to its own Grove Co. products, the company offers hundreds of vetted brands, making it easier for families to discover products that meet higher ingredient and sustainability standards.

Rather than focusing on a single product category, Grove emphasizes how products are selected. The company maintains ingredient standards for the brands it carries, works to reduce plastic waste through its Beyond Plastic™ initiative, and makes every order plastic neutral through plastic recovery efforts. As both a Certified B Corporation and a Public Benefit Corporation, Grove also publishes annual sustainability reports that track its progress on priorities including packaging, climate, and healthier products for the home.

Welcoming a new baby comes with plenty of decisions, and every purchase is an opportunity to learn a little more about the products we choose for our families. We appreciate businesses that are transparent about their impact and committed to continuous improvement.
