Position Opening: Marketing and Communications Associate

Our new Associate role is a critical one that will help Veerless build our brand, attract partners and clients, and build internal systems that create a successful future for Veerless and our team members. Veerless’ new Marketing Associate will be a self-starter, passionate about growth and excellence in sustainability consulting. The role is multifaceted and blends the areas of research, social media and marketing management.

CONSIDER THIS ROLE IF YOU ARE…
  • More organized than an Erin Condren color coded calendar. Balancing the work of our clients and the needs of thought leadership and marketing is challenging for everyone at Veerless. We need a marketing leader who can make it simple and easy for our team to create and cultivate the content that gets seen in our industry. You’ll be the hub of our thought leadership and marketing network and keep us all moving forward.
  • A badass social media ace. Our online communities are growing every day and need a creative manager to keep our social media presence value-driven, fun and interactive.
  • Dangerously nerdy about design and visuals: You love Canva, might even have a knack for Adobe InDesign (professional graphic designer not required), and you’ve dabbled in video, audio, and other production elements. You have a favorite Pantone color and a favorite font (and a least favorite, of course). You will be the nitpicky, perfectionist expert that makes our PowerPoint presentations engaging and beautiful.
AND YOU’RE…
  • Naturally curious with the research chops of an FBI agent. You love diving into the web to gather crucial information, showcasing your knack for uncovering valuable insights and data.
  • Pitch, please. You have no problem reaching out to anyone cold, and you have a knack for building rapport over email. From our podcast to PR, this individual will be responsible for reaching out to potential podcast guests, pitching articles for our leadership team members in publications with the help of our external agency partners, and being the first connection for our CEO’s thought leadership.
  • Sustainable AF. At Veerless, we walk our talk, and we want you to love what you do. If you have a passion for sustainability, ethics, and corporations who move the world forward, tell us your story!
other skills that matter
  • Expert Communications: Strong in both verbal and written forms, your communication skills make client and team interactions smooth, clear, and engaging.
  • Tech-Savvy: Whether it’s social media platforms, office suites, or virtual meeting software, you navigate and utilize various digital tools with confidence and ease.
  • Self-Motivation: Independent and proactive, you take the initiative in your work and love finishing projects as much as you love starting them.
  • Problem Solving: When faced with challenges, your resourcefulness shines, calmly finding solutions and efficiently overcoming obstacles.
  • Observant and Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is one of your core strengths, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and projects.

Diversity and Inclusion Statement:

At Veerless, we are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, embracing diversity in all its forms. We proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and strongly encourage individuals who are transgender, non-binary and/or non-conforming to apply. We believe diverse perspectives not only enrich our company culture but also drives innovation and creativity. We provide an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work every day. Our commitment to inclusivity is a cornerstone of our identity, aligning with our mission in sustainability and social responsibility.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We are open to this position being either full-time or part-time and will evaluate compensation based on that decision and the experience of the final candidate.
  • Competitive salary, based on experience.
  • Monthly stipends to support health, technology, and professional development.
  • Comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401K with a competitive company match.
  • Unlimited vacation time for all team members (and yes, we use our vacation time!)
  • Fully remote work environment to support work-life balance.
  • Paid volunteer time and support for community engagement.
