Veerless Becomes Carbon Neutral Certified
At Veerless, we strongly believe a commitment to the planet and combating climate change means little without a data-driven strategy to prove a company’s commitment. As 2023 wrapped, we began our process to become Climate Neutral Certified. This certification is awarded by the Change Climate Project, which stands as a rigorous, independent standard for companies taking real, measurable steps towards reducing their carbon emissions to zero.
Veerless Favorites: B Corp Impact Reports
With the release of Veerless’ 2023 Impact Report, we are working to “walk our talk” as a thought leader in sustainability – for ourselves and our clients. Our inaugural report is more than a document – it’s a testament to living our values, a cornerstone of our identity in the ESG landscape.
As we wrote our first report, we were inspired by many other B Corp reports globally. Today, we’re highlighting our “5 Faves,” companies whose exceptional impact reports offer both inspiration and benchmarks for excellence. Click the titles and images below to view these impressive reports.
Veerless Favorites: Hospital/Health Care Sustainability Reports – When Message Meets Mission
Sustainability reporting has become table stakes for most large companies. The International Federation of Accountants estimates nearly 98% of large companies globally reported on some ESG information in 2022. Estimates vary in the health care sector, but the consensus is that less than 50% of health care companies (and even less in hospital systems specifically) are reporting on any ESG or sustainability data.
Introducing Veerless’ Inaugural Impact Report
Since Veerless began as Marcy Twete Consulting in 2019, we have been hands on in the development of our clients’ ESG/Sustainability/CR and Impact reports. Our team emphasizes the importance of transparency, openness, and clarity in reporting with every project we do for clients. Internally, we’ve “walked our talk” in transparency by becoming B Corp Certified in 2021. But something was missing – a report. B Corps are required to recertify their scores every three years, and we look forward to our recertification in 2024. But we also wanted to create a singular place for our stakeholders to see our impact at work.

But in all the years I’ve worked in this field, I have seldom heard someone exclaim, “I love sustainability reporting. It’s my favorite part of my job.”
